Julie Michaels died on February 12, 2018, at the age of 54 years old after a brave fight against stage 4 ovarian cancer. She was born in Santa Ana, California and attended high school in Newbury Park, California before graduating from University of California Los Angeles. She then went on to attend the UCLA School of Law and graduated with an Juris Doctorate in 1989. Julie Michaels started her career in law at the Santa Monica firm of Littler Mendelson before moving to the Santa Ana law firm of Greenberg & Griswold in 1991. The biggest challenge with Julie was that her family and friends didn’t understand why she did it. So, she created this video as a way to show them why she did it. Her family doesn’t support her decision to die. So, in this video, we see how they can support her by taking care of the people she loves. As I said earlier, I’m not sure if we’ve ever created a video like this before. So, I hope that this is helpful to all the other families out there who are going through this as well.
